Gregório holds a Bachelor’s degree in Piano from University of Campinas and a Master’s in Musicology from the University of São Paulo (USP). Currently, he is a Graduate Assistant at Georgia State University, where he teaches Group Piano as part of his Masters in Piano Performance. He is versatile as a pianist and teacher and worked at music schools in Campinas and São Paulo before moving to Atlanta, working with young and adult students, beginners and advanced alike.
As a pianist, his focus is classical music, having performed as a soloist and chamber musician in cities such as São Paulo, Campinas, Poços de Caldas, Salvador, and Atlanta. As a Chopin Society of Atlanta scholarship recipient, he participated in workshops, masterclasses, and performances in Paris and Vienna.
Despite his focus on performance, he has been working as a collaborative pianist with instrumentalists and singers, participating in classes, coaching, auditions, and recitals. He also collaborated with young orchestras, participating in social projects such as the HATUS Institute (Osasco) and staging of Opera at Georgia State University.
As a teacher, he believes in the transformative potential of music, seeking to cultivate individual artistic expression and respecting each student’s personal interest.
