Jessica Vallance – early child education, piano and voice
Jessica began her career in 2002 with Grammy Nominated Gwinnett Young Singers where she discovered her passion for reaching people through music. She has extensive background in choral and solo performance as well as music theater and opera. She has performed with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Chorus on numerous occasions and worked with Peach State Opera and the Cumming Playhouse. Jessica graduated from Reinhardt University with a Bachelor of Arts in Vocal Performance and placed heavy emphasis on pedagogy, elementary education, and diction in German, Italian, Spanish, and French. While at Reinhardt, Jessica studied conducting and choral methods with Spivey Hall Children’s Choir founder and conductor, Martha Shaw. She has competed at NATS and performed at conventions with ACDA and GMEA. Jessica enjoys every aspect of putting together a performance. She has experience in directing, stage managing, set building, staging, and conducting. Since graduation Jessica has been tutoring in music theory, beginner piano, and sight reading. Her passion lies in shaping her lessons around each individual child’s learning style to help them achieve success.
